When GenSmarts first started out, way back in 2003, we set up a user forum as a place where users could interact with each. While there was plenty of activity, almost all of it was simple support questions directed to us rather than other users. While there's some value in seeing support questions and answers, email is a much better/faster mechanism for us to provide support. To strike a balance between the forum and email, we thought we'd try the blog format, which also gives us a more visible mechanism to communicate more frequently. The old forum posts have been converted to blog entries, so are still available for reference.
