Support added for the new RootsMagic 8 file format. Thanks to those RM users who helped out with the testing.

At the moment, the update is only a direct download (the software won't prompt you). We're looking at a few other changes, so there may be a new version coming on the heels of this one... if so, we'll wait and put that version up into the "proactively notify users" update mechanism.

The update can be downloaded here:

Once downloaded, with GenSmarts closed, you can simply install "over the top" of what you have.

FYI - the exception to the above would be if you have a "special edition" of GenSmarts. See this post if you think you might have one of these special editions.
