Is there any way to manually enter the data for a few individuals into a GenSmarts DB? I have over 5,500 in my database but am interested in only about half a dozen for GenSmarts.

Just create a tree that only has the people your interested in researching.

Or use your current tree and when you open it in GenSmarts, type in the name of the person you're wanting to research.

That's some advanced filtering options as well. But GenSmarts will scan the entire source you're using. It'll make suggestions for whoever's in your source file.

GenSmarts scans rapidly, so I find it easier to have GenSmarts scan my whole file (more people than in your database), and then type in the name of the person I'm looking for.
