I've had a few reports recently of this error (sometimes with this error also - EffDatabaseError Unable to open table: CountryTable). I suspect Microsoft tweaked something in an update or some such thing. So... GenSmarts has been tweaked in the opposite direction to make this error go away. After making sure GenSmarts is closed (check both the task bar and the tray - lower right hand corner of your screen), download and install the updated version below "over the top" of what you have - e.g. no need to uninstall.
