Error opening TMG File (Win 8)

Trying to install GenSmarts on a new machine running Windows 8. When trying to access my TMG file, I get the message "Error opening TMG File. (EOleException) [Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed]/" and the message at the bottom says to go to "" and follow the instructions there. Unfortunately, there is nothing there that applies to Windows 8. Everything from Win 95 to Win 7 is covered but not 8. I'm a bit leery about attempting to try something designed to fix a Win7 or earlier to a Win8 problem, so what do I do in this situation.

Follow the instructions for Win 7 and you'll be fine.

The page should be updated to say Win 7 and Win 8.
