Error opening TMG File (Win 8)

Trying to install GenSmarts on a new machine running Windows 8. When trying to access my TMG file, I get the message "Error opening TMG File. (EOleException) [Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed]/" and the message at the bottom says to go to "http://www.gensmarts.com/MSWIN.asp" and follow the instructions there. Unfortunately, there is nothing there that applies to Windows 8. Everything from Win 95 to Win 7 is covered but not 8. I'm a bit leery about attempting to try something designed to fix a Win7 or earlier to a Win8 problem, so what do I do in this situation.

Follow the instructions for Win 7 and you'll be fine.
The page should be updated to say Win 7 and Win 8.
