I am having trouble with Gensmarts recognising shared events from RootsMagic 5 (and previously 4). A shared event is one that can be used for multiple people such as a census. The head of Household has the event listed and the rest of the household members share the event. Gensmarts does not see that the event is already recorded for anyone but the head of household and comes up with suggestions that are already found. I'm not sure if this is an issue with settings or perhaps an upgrade request.
