I get the following error:
GSEC41 - link out of bounds (SGO)
when I run a search for birth info into ancestry from GenSmarts within TMG on Windows XP.
I am using the latest TMG, the latest Gensmarts, and am logged into my subscription at Ancestry.
I tried it being logged into Ancestry as well as while not logged in. And, for the record, the birth record I want is available on Ancestry.
How can I fix this error?
Thanks,
Mary Anne

This error means that TMG asked GenSmarts to internet navigate a suggestion that doesn't exist. For example, let's say GenSmarts returned 20 suggestions in your example. If TMG asks for GenSmarts to internet navigate suggestion number 40, that would cause this error.
Here's what I would suggest:
1) Restart TMG.
2) Ask TMG to get suggestions from GenSmarts for the person in question. On the TMG window that displays those suggestions, find the specific suggestion you're referring to and press TMG's Online Lookup button - that will cause TMG to generate a request to GenSmart to navigate your browser.
3) The commands and results from the TMG/GenSmarts interaction are contained in three files which you'll find in the TMG program directory ( C:\Program Files\The Master Genealogist ) and are called:
gscontrol.xml
gsdata1.xml
gsdata2.xml
Send an email to support@GenSmarts.com attaching those three files and I'll take a look and verify that everything appears to be normal on the GenSmarts side of this interaction.
4) Assuming there doesn't appear to be any GenSmarts issues, you'll need to work with TMG support to try and figure out why TMG is requesting a lookup on a suggestion that doesn't exist. They'll likely want to look at those three files above as well.
