TOOLS...SETTINGS... change your default search option to BROWSE rather than one of the IE only SMARTSEARCH/SMARTLINK options. That will have GenSmarts use your default browser. With Firefox, however, you loose the typing that GenSmarts does for you in the browser, as Firefox doesn't support any external automation interface.
