I bought GenSmarts with the intention of using it with TMG v.5 files, but when I try to open a project, I receive the error message:

Error TMG File. (EOIeException) [Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed]

I've tried it on three different .pjc files, and get the same error with all projects.

A Google search on the error message seems it may be that the Jet 3.51 OLE DB Provider Is Not Installed With MDAC 2.1 or Later, but I have not yet found how to resolve the difficulty.

Do I need to uninstall and reinstall GenSmarts?

No, you need the MS FOXPRO driver to access TMG files. You'll find a download link at http://www.gensmarts.com/foxpro.asp

GenSmarts will check to see if this is installed, and the version that's present, so you should have gotten a warning that your Foxpro driver wasn't adequate, along with a download link to download/install it. You can cancel this warning and continue on, though you will get the error described if you don't have the driver in place and are opening a TMG file.
