Which databases (pick 2 or 3)?

If I had to pick 2 or 3 databases at Godfrey, my choices would be i this order:

  1. Newspaperarchives.com

  2. London Times Digital Archive

  3. Obituaries, under Newspapers

Well, Newspaperarchive.com is already included, but I'd definitely support adding search capability with both NewsBank's America's Obituaries and their Early American Newspapers collections thru Godfrey.

Findagrave would be a really good search to include since it's free and has over 12 million burials listed worldwide. It would go well with the newspaper archives and SSDI when looking up death inforamtion.

The states of Missouri, Arizona and West Virginia all have death record information (and images) online. Shelby County, Tennessee Register of Deeds also has lots of marriage and death records available on their website.
